Vehicle Interior Trim Panels
Interior trim panels are used in vehicles to house small components, and define the interior shape of the vehicle. These panels are typically used to house small electrical buttons,such as the locks, windows, and mirrors. Panels are screwed into the vehicle's door frame, and are easily removed for maintenance of the wires,and components in which they house.
Interior panels are available in many shapes,styles,and colors in order to match the vehicle's interior. Panels will often have leather wrapped arm rests attached to them, which provides extra comfort and support to the passengers.
Door panels are used in vehicles on each door to hold and house components like the door handle, door lock, speakers, and all the small buttons used to operate electrical components in the vehicle. Most vehicles will have two or four door panels depending on the amount of doors located on the vehicle. Since the door panel in the first piece of interior seen when opening the vehicle, it is important that the shape and material of it represents the rest of the vehicles interior well. Kick panels are located near the front of the vehicle in between the firewall and front door opening. For more of a visual reference, these panels are located near the drivers left foot and near the front passenger’s right foot.
