Engine Pushrod Tubes
Pushrod tubes are an essential part in some engines, and also a main cause of oil leaks in the engine. During an engine rebuild, push rod tubes are often overlooked since they are not easily visible and can be hard to remove. Most new pushrod tubes are made out of aluminum which helps prevent corrosion which can occur easier in steel tubes. This corrosion is the main reason why older push rod tubes may leak.
Most pushrods will come with new washers and seals that match the tube to ensure a proper fit and to prevent any leaks. Pushrod tubes are available in many different colors to increase the look in that part of the engine. Pushrod tubes come in many different sizes to fit a variety of different size engines. A wrong size pushrod tube can cause clearance issues with high lift rockers and big cams.
